If you ask us, the term "wastewater" is in desperate need of a rebrand

In a recent profile of Epic Cleantec by WIRED, journalist Matt Simon breaks down the potential for recovering valuable resources in building wastewater. Epic's onsite water reuse technology can convert building wastewater into three sustainable outputs:

💧 Highly purified water

🌱 Carbon-rich soil amendments
⚡ Heat energy

"What Epic Cleantec has achieved is to essentially shrink down what a water recycling plant does into a system that fits in a high-rise basement, lightening the burden on municipal wastewater treatment and reducing pressure on water supplies."

As more people increasingly embrace a circular approach with our limited resources, it's become clear that the term "wastewater" needs a rebrand. At Epic, we believe there is no such thing as wastewater, only wasted water.
